Hidden treasures - Evening walk at Stahnsdorf South-Western Cemetery (Abendspaziergang auf dem Südwestkirchhof auf Englisch)

The Stahnsdorf South-Western Cemetery is the second largest cemetery in Germany and the tenth largest in the world. It is also an important landscape park and comprises a great number of historically valuable tombs.

Of special relevance are the military burials after the First World War, the Italian and Commonwealth War Graves. In the center of the grounds, the wooden chapel built in Norwegian style was the site of many film shoots.

Klaus Busch teaches English at Kreisvolkshochschule but is also a historian well versed in the multi-facetd history of this special place and has been member of the friends association.

The evening is for Non-German-Speakers and English-Learners at the same time.
